Energy Deregulation And Michael Jarmana

November 28th, 2009 - Posted by admin

When the energy market was first deregulated, there were no experts in the field and there were no salespeople with any more knowledge or expertise than others. This level playing field was not only true for independent salespeople but for energy suppliers and energy retailers alike. The one name that stands out, now, as the most effective and profitable salesperson is undoubtedly that of Michael Jarmana. Having graduated from college with a science degree and having enjoyed a highly successful internship program with Southwestern Co, Michael set his sights on the opportunities that deregulation offered.

While developing a system he now refers to as the Green Light System or GLS, Michael was selling more than 250 energy contracts every single week; incredible figures especially when compared to an industry of average of 20 per week and when you consider that every contract had to be sold on an individual basis. Educating consumers and offering them access to the most desirable products helped Michael Jarmana establish himself as a major name.

Stream Energy was the next company to benefit from his undoubted talents and Michael and an elite team propelled Stream Energy to become one of the largest companies in the industry with an annual turnover exceeding $1bn a year achieved in less than four years. Michael continues to develop energy products as well as his own sales techniques, and while his interests have diversified, his main interest certainly still lies in the energy market where he helps sell green energy to a more aware client base.
